Bio - Fred Fischer

Bio Pic - fred fischer2010Frederick D. Fischer is the founder and President of Fischer Financial Services, Inc. He currently chairs the Investment Committee and serves as Senior Portfolio Manager.

Fred was born and raised in Highland Indiana. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics, with a concentration in Finance, from Purdue University. He also earned a Master of Science in Management from Purdue University.

Since 1988, Fred has addressed many different organizations, including the PA Bar Association, PA Optometric Association, the Board of the PA Podiatric Medical Association, PA Blue Shield, Harrisburg Dental Society, Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, and the PEER Network Conference at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He has been quoted in the Patriot News, Community Review, Business Month, and USA Today. In addition to serving numerous charities financially, Fred serves on the Investment Committee of the Foundation for Enhancing Communities and the Keystone Human Services Investment Committee. Occasionally, Fred has served as an expert witness in arbitration proceedings to assist individuals who have been wronged.

Mr. Fischer and his wife, Marianne, reside in Mechanicsburg PA. They are parishioners of St. Katharine Drexel Church, where he was a member of the Intercessory Prayer Group and served as co-facilitator of the Little Rock Scripture Studies series. Fred has served as a member and as Chairman of the Pastoral Council at St. Katharine and as Board member and Treasurer for Silence of Mary Home. He is also serving as Chair of the Finance Committee for Our Lady of Lourdes Hospitality North American Volunteers. Fred is also a professed member of the Secular Franciscan Order and holds a Third Degree in the Knights of Columbus, Council 13100.
